About
I'm Jason — a product designer who focuses on the systems and craft that help teams ship at scale.
Currently, I'm leading the design system team at Kong, a unified API and AI platform powering modern connectivity.
Over the past decade, I've built design systems and shaped product experiences at companies ranging from early-stage startups to public companies.
Before Kong, I worked at Dutchie, a point of sale and back office product focused on the cannabis industry. I helped develop the design system along with the implementation of our unified design language across multiple newly acquired products.
Prior to Dutchie, I was the first product design hire at Chainlink Labs, a web3 startup helping build the future of smart contracts in the blockchain space. Chainlink has grown into a top crypto asset with a market cap of over $9 billion USD.
I also had the opportunity to work at Twilio as a product designer on the design systems team. My journey with Twilio began at SendGrid, a marketing and transactional email provider that IPO'd and was subsequently acquired by Twilio in 2018. At SendGrid, I helped grow the small team from a few designers to a team of over 20 by the time of our acquisition. Today, Twilio stands as one of the world's leading customer engagement platforms.
